MARKUS - MÜHLE® venison and duck food is transported directly from Markus - Mühle® in Germany to its branch in Spain only in refrigerated trucks at 20 ° C - 24 ° C constant temperature.  Because it is animal food without preservatives, very sensitive to heat and moisture, we ship it in protective boxes throughout Spain in approx. 24 hr. with MRW.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our parent company in Germany manufactures dog food in a traditional way, with more than 50 years of experience working exclusively with top quality ingredients; these are carefully selected and combined into an easily digestible recipe to offer your dogs a natural diet and targeted to their species.

This food is composed of easy to digest duck, venison from our German region, white fish rich in fatty acids, and carefully selected natural ingredients. From all this we obtain a tasty pellet.

Our artisanal process makes the Markus Mühle Venison and Duck® a soft, tender, and highly digestible product. Its balanced formula is equivalent to hunting prey.

Markus-Mühle Venison and Duck® food is produced at our plant in Germany by a traditional cold method (not extruded), using hydroelectric power that prevents carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

The cold process (not extruded and pressed into the form of pellets or chips), reduces denaturation of its ingredients, vitamins and protein. This cold process allows the raw materials to better retain their aroma and natural flavor and offer higher palatability. It also favors digestibility and better assimilation of food.

Once processed, the food is packaged in 5 and 15 kg bags and transported directly to our central warehouse in Spain in refrigerated trucks with controlled temperatures between 18 ° - 24 ° C. Since the food is produced in Germany,  it is received in Spain in a maximum of 3 days. To avoid denaturing our food and losing its organoleptic properties, we keep its real shelf-life by using only refrigerated trucks to bring it from the parent company in Germany. Thus, we avoid the food passing through the "sauna" of a canvas truck. Quality is our priority!

All shipments to our clients on national territory, including Markus-Mühle venison and duck, are packaged in thermo-protective white boxes approved for human food use.

We, the representation of Markus-Mühle in Spain, take extreme care in the transport of food and supplements from the factory in Germany until it is delivered to consumers. For national transport, we only contract reputable companies such as MRW and UPS among others to ensure that their time of receipt is approx. 24 hrs. from the time the order leaves our central warehouse. This type of distribution implies an increase in our costs; we do not save on the quality of our pet food. A natural food with a short shelf life that is exposed to poor handling conditions and transported in low quality boxes that do not protect it properly or sent directly to the final consumer from abroad, can shorten its actual expiration and cause them to lose many of their properties. We take no risk! (What is cheap comes out expensive, and the price of quality shows our love for our pets).

Our motto is: “Offering a high-quality product in good conditions with fast shipping service and careful personal attention, so that both the client and the pet will be satisfied, and we will too! Complaints or incidents are inevitable, because we are not perfect and we rely on many people as carriers, distributors, etc. Our goal is to strive to a maximum to reduce incidents and claims by giving solutions, trust and loyalty to friends/clients."

Like all our food, Markus-Mühle venison and duck is free of chemical additives and sugar additives.

Being a natural product, its shelf life is short: 6 months in summer, and approximately 7  months in winter.

IMPORTANT:

These recommendations are approximate. The amount of food your pet needs varies depending on the size and breed as well as factors such as the climate, type of activity and temperament of the dog (for example, in the summer in Spain, dogs tend to eat 50% of what they eat in winter), but they drink a lot.

It is recommended to feed your pet at least twice a day. To do this, you must divide the amount suggested in the ration table by two and provide it at intervals of 8 to 12 hours. It is important to establish fixed schedules to create a healthy diet pattern and good habits in your pet.

To avoid overeating and excessive defecation, first weigh the food. Measure and weigh Markus-Mühle venison and duck food with our meter. Do not use measuring devices for extruded or industrial food; without knowing it, you will be giving your dog a greater quantity of food because a lower quantity of Markus-Mühle venison and duck weighs more

Do not allow your dog to run  after eating! This is to prevent problems such as possible twisting of the stomach, although this is difficult with our food because it melts on contact with gastric juices or liquids; avoid allowing your dog to play, run, and climb up and down stairs or swim after eating. We recommend that after eating, your dog remain still and quiet (or inside your house), for a minimum of 1 and a half to 2 hours.

It is important for our dogs always to have clean, fresh water available, especially in spring and summer when they drink more.[/tab_item]

[tab_item title='Suggestions']

SUGGESTIONS

  • IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STORAGE:
  • • Store this food in a cool, dry place.
  • • After use, close the bag securely and, if possible, do not leave the bag in direct contact with the ground.
  • • Stomach twist (bloat) - to prevent problems such as possible twist of the pet’s stomach, (although this is difficult with our food because it melts on contact with liquids or juices) after your dog eats, do not allow it to play, run, go up and down stairs or swim.  We recommend that after eating, your dog remain still and quiet (or inside your house) for a minimum of an hour and a half to two hours.  We recommend that you divide the daily ration in 2 or 3 meals: morning, afternoon and evening.
  • • It is advisable to leave the food in our protective special box until it is finished.
  • • Keep away from sunlight, heat sources and moisture.
  • • Never leave the food in the car, especially in times of heat or in places with high temperatures!
  • • Avoid placing the bag in places where there may be pests or insects.
  • • Once you open the bag, close it well and keep it in the protective box until finished.
  • • Never put it in plastic or airtight containers because, as a natural product, it needs to breathe.
  • • If you buy 2 or 3 sacks to take advantage of our special offers, please note that the expiration date is 7 months and that you should store them as shown in the above points. If you do not have a suitable place to store it or your dog cannot eat it all before 7-8 months have passed, it is better to buy less, so your pet will enjoy a fresh product and good nutrition with its actual expiration. We all like to save, but quality must be first for our pets.
  • Thinking about the health of your pet, "before the savings you can get,” we recommend that you purchase the natural, non-extruded food without preservatives directly for the national representatives of the different brands, avoiding retailers that are exclusive distributors of a brand.  Natural foods, like ours, without preservatives and extrusion are generally not suitable for submission to long trips, transport, or heat; they can lose their properties and shorten their actual shelf-life, especially in climates such as Spain.  For this reason, we insist on carrying our food from our parent company in Germany only in refrigerated trucks.  Our food can be shipped in canvas, non-refrigerated trucks in the countries of Northern Europe, but in Spain "you don't play" with the heat.
