PLAQUEX ®, the chewy bars to protect teeth and gums, are transported directly from our Markus-Mühle factory in Germany to our warehouse in Spain in refrigerated trucks between 18ºC-24ºC. Being a natural product, it is very sensitive to heat and damp as it contains no preservatives. We send the packages to the whole of Spain in thermo-protective boxes within approximately 24 hours in order to maintain its freshness and shelf life.

GENERAL INFORMATION
PLAQUEX ® are made Luposan style, using a very low temperature process –not extruded- to better preserve the natural active ingredients. The bars are approximately 3 to 4 inches long. They come in a handy 750gr pack.
Luposan / Spain takes extreme care in transporting their feeds and supplements in refrigerated trucks with a controlled temperature directly to our warehouse in Spain. This means that our timeframe from Germany to Spain, is maximum 4-5 days, allowing freshness to be preserved constantly.
We send our feeds and supplements in refrigerated trucks for international transport. We hire renowned urgent domestic couriers such as MRW, UPS or DHL, amongst others, to ensure that your reception time is approximately 24 h - 48 h maximum, from our warehouse to your home as they are highly sensitive natural products.
This type of distribution implies an increase in our costs, but we do not jeopardize our pets’ food. A natural feed with a short shelf life, exposed to poor storage and lengthy transportation may lose many of its properties. We do not risk it. (Cheap tends to turn to expensive and for us, quality is priceless).

Plaquex ® is a 100 percent natural product, made in our German factory, using a traditional low temperature method (38 ° C - max. 45 ° C) using hydropower to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere allowing Luposan products to be in tune with nature. PLAQUEX ® is a new formula with active natural ingredients developed to take care of dogs’ dental and oral hygiene.
Giving your dog PLAQUEX ® regularly, helps to reduce existing plaque and/or prevent the formation of plaque. It works against bad breath and promotes gum protection through its main active material: spirulina algae. The algae are used in natural alternative medicine to promote healthy gums, especially in cases of inflammation, as well as working as an oral disinfectant.

Algae, especially Spirulina, used in natural alternative medicine for the care and protection of the gums, especially in cases of inflammation, also serves as an oral disinfectant. "There are toothpastes containing algae".
Salvadora persica:
It has different names: In Africa and India it is called "The toothbrush tree". Its roots and branches are traditionally used for dental hygiene. Its branches are cut and then chewed up so they fray and can serve as a toothbrush. They are also used to massage the gums and tongue. In Islamic tradition this plant is used for the fulfillment of the prayer to Allah in the Hanafi line and is called Miswak or Siwak.
This tree contains proteins, minerals, and some filament substances that inhibit germination. Contains Bassanit crystal deposits supporting dental cleaning. In its timber there is a high proportion of fluorine (8 to 22 ppm.)
