As we know, dogs have been helpful to men for thousands of years, and today, they continue to be. Dogs have now become indispensable in many tasks for their exceptional olfactory senses, their agility, by their total dedication and by their desire to suceed that never fails, even in the most adverse conditions.

Here are a few examples of trades in which dogs have become so important, that without their help it would be impossible to meet the expected results:

• In the army and police force, dogs are essential as liason dogs, tracking, searching patrol, attack or protect on command, sanitary tasks, watch dogs and to seek out for drugs, explosives or hydrocarbons.

• Rescue dogs risk their lives in nautical rescue, avalanches, mountains, the search for bodies, mining disasters, etc..

• As assistants to the disabled, dogs can make life easier for the physically disabled, as well as being a great help to geriatrics, the mentally ill in special education centres.

• Our faithful friend, is also a great athlete and participates in events such as exhibitions, games contests, greyhound racing, trail, Canicross, Agility-dog, Flyball, Frisbee, kick sledding, and Ski-pulka.

Finally, other jobs our beloved dogs are proficient at: truffle dogs, metal detector, sheepdogs, guard dogs, etc..

Really quite a feat for these intelligent and beautiful animals who do their work without rest and accompany us throughout life by establishing a bond of friendship, affection and unforgettable esteem.
